Arai XD-5 Helmet - Aluminum Silver - MD

The Arai XD-5 has been completely redesigned, packed with numerous new features. As with all Arai products, every improvement is made with a priority for protection. This new model brings it ever closer to the ideal Arai shape for protection.

One of the most significant changes is the visor system and its visor. The new VAS-A visor system, derived from the VAS-V system originally developed for the Corsair-X, has been designed to maximize Glancing-Off performance. This means more surface area to glance off impact energy, while offering easy installation and removal of the visor and peak.

The visor itself has been redesigned for increased visibility and is now a Max Vision visor, allowing for easy installation of a Pinlock insert. The new VAS-A visor system also makes it easier to switch, without tools, between different styles, including Adventure, Off-road, and On-road.

Furthermore, the XD-5 is DOT FMVSS No.218 Certified, ensuring it meets the safety standards set forth by the Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 218.
