Arai XD-5 Helmet - Black Frost - MD

The XD-5 has been completely redesigned, packed with many new features. As with everything from Arai, every improvement is made with a priority for protection. This new model brings it ever closer to the ideal Arai shape for protection. One of the biggest changes is the visor system and its visor. The new VAS-A visor system, derived from the VAS-V system originally developed for the Corsair-X, has been designed to maximize Glancing-Off performance, offering more surface area to glance off impact energy while providing easy installation and removal of the visor and peak. The visor itself has been redesigned for increased visibility, now a Max Vision visor, allowing for easy installation of a Pinlock insert. The new VAS-A visor system also makes it easier to switch, without tools, to one of the other styles: Adventure, Off-road, or On-road. Certified to DOT FMVSS No.218, this helmet prioritizes protection in its every detail, continuing Arai's tradition of meticulous engineering for the safety of riders.
