Arai Corsair-X Full Face Motorcycle Helmet - Shogun - Large

The Corsair, perhaps the most renowned name in the entire Arai lineup, has long been recognized as one of the most advanced and highest-quality helmets available worldwide. It represents the culmination of our vast experience in helmet design and our unwavering focus on rider protection. With features such as the ingenious VAS shield mechanism, dramatically improved airflow and ventilation, and an Eco-Pure liner, the Corsair-X has undoubtedly earned its place as our flagship model.

The Corsair features an intermediate oval shape, which fits the majority of head shapes in the North American markets. Its Internal Air Channel system provides enhanced ventilation, with an improved air extraction system that pulls hot and moist air from the eye port area through ducted channels behind the cheek pads, exhausting it out the side cowl vents. This helps keep the rider cool and reduces fogging.

The Shield Latch, the Variable Axis System (VAS) latch, captures and securely holds the shield closed, helping to resist unexpected opening. The dual-function lever releases both the side cover/pod and shield pin, allowing for quick and simple shield removal. The shield has a positive stop to resist unintentional opening, even in the de-mist position, but a slight pull on the lift tab allows the shield to lift with ease.

The IC Duct5 system uses a three-position slide gate to improve sealing, reducing noise and water intrusion.
