Arai Corsair-X Hayden Laguna Unisex-Adult Motorcycle Helmet

The Arai Corsair-X Helmet has taken helmet technology and rider protection to a new level by engineering a helmet that not only guards against direct impacts but is also designed to minimize the forces of "glancing off" impacts. Constructed from Super Fiber and other special synthetic fibers developed for F-1 helmet visor panels, the helmet is assembled and bonded by Arai experts, with a specially-developed resin creating stronger bonds between shell materials while maintaining a lightweight.

The shell of the Corsair-X Helmet has superb tensile strength due to a variety of carefully-positioned materials and a light weight resin, ensuring it is DOT Approved and Meets FMVSS 218 Standards. The exclusive VAS (Variable Axis System) shield and side pods are a key feature of the helmet, allowing for a lower shield mounting position than most helmets while still enabling shield opening and closing.

The VAS (Variable Axis System) has a variable axis (moving pivot point), which allows the shield mounting position to be lower than most helmets, without compromising the ability to open and close the shield. The dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple face shield removal, capturing and holding the face shield closed securely while also providing a de-mist position to slightly crack the shield open. The larger latch design allows for intuitive and seamless operation.

The VAS MAX Vision shield is standard on the Corsair-X Helmet, providing better visibility in all seasons and for all types of riding. It comes standard with a clear anti-fog Pinlock insert, enhancing the rider's visibility in various weather conditions.
