Arai VX-Pro4 Resolute Unisex-Adult Off-Road Helmet - Red/X-Large

This helmet features a peak that is 14mm longer and 5mm wider than the VX-PRO3 model. The larger relief ports allow more air to escape from under the enlarged peak, helping to minimize lift or pulling at high speeds.

The chin vent incorporates an expanded stainless steel mesh that has been moved from the inside to the outside of the shell. This provides additional space to move the EPS chin liner forward, creating more room in the face area. The chin vent has a round and smooth mesh cap to resist snagging and digging, and it can be easily removed with a single screw that will break away if necessary in an impact.

The Inner Mud Gate can be easily removed to allow for increased airflow. The liner components include FCS cheek pads with a larger surface area that wrap under the jaw for greater comfort. The liner also features a removable, replaceable, and washable neck roll pad, as well as 5mm peel-away cheek pads and temple pads.

The ventilation system consists of six upper vents, an upper and lower rear exhaust vent cowl designed to increase airflow and vacuum exhaust, and vents positioned to assist in holding the goggle strap in the center position, preventing it from sliding off, up, or down. The upper rear exhaust vent set is designed to accommodate all five shell sizes.

While the vent system is fragile under crash impact, it is more durable against smaller contacts. It features the same three basic chin intakes, two under-peak intakes, six upper exhaust, and two lower exhaust vents.

The eye port trim and material have a molded rubber trim across the top of the eye port, with standoff ribs that help reduce liner wear from goggles while also providing a small gap for airflow. Molded goggle strap guides are present on either side of the eye port trim.

This helmet is DOT Approved and meets the FMVSS 218 Standard. It features red and black material accent colors for a tri-color interior. The Emergency Cheek Pad Removal strap label design is included for easier use, as the label acts as a pull tab for the strap.
